The Royal Recognition awards system is ineffective at recognizing hardworking students with high academic performance as the way it works doesn't award the same types of achievements. We propose keeping the Royal Recognition program but bringing back Honour Roll and the subject awards in order to acknowledge those who achieve high grades at school.

It's something that kids can be proud of and strive for, and it's a good motivator if someone has friends who get one the honour roll they don't get in.
We should have awards for both inside and outside the academic timetable

The new system is so confusing and nobody even cares about it. Bring back the honour roll so we actually have a goal to work towards.
