I think the band system is a joke kids progress at different levels an it's not right to single out the poor kids that can't help having behaviour or disability problems

I don't think it's fair on the children that aren't achieving that well seeing children move up 2 bands and the can't even move up 1 isn't fair

Mary Swanwick parent. My kids haven't had issues with the bands but I know some kids have. I've seen kids in tears over these, frightened about losing them. Using fear to get results is wrong.

The coloured band system seperates the children, rather than teaching them that good behaviour is better supported by the school. Manners, kindness and thoughtful behaviour towards others should be rewarded, not who is better than who.

definately get rid of the horrific band system. constantly putting stress on children when there is no need. make school fun again!!!!!

The band system in my opinion is pathetic.It divides the kids from friends who have more privileges because of a higher colour band.
