The momentum we have built makes it impossible for the Academy to keep pretending this controversy doesn't exist. They are hiding behind closed doors and hoping we just move on but this surge of support proves they cannot ignore us forever.

Without open deliberation, and soliciting a response from Mr. Grady in making this decision, our community has run from our values.

It is extremely important to be able to hear the insight and opinions of individuals who may not agree with what is considered to be conventional at our school.
