Father Nick was very kind to my aunt, Helen Constant, when she was sick.

I am saddened by the news.........wonderful priest and wonderful person.Great loss for the St. Athanasius church in these difficult times !

It's called blind faith so I don't need to know the facts because I know this person and his ❤️ Its politics at its worst. Shame on those persecuting this man, someone we need and someone I cherish-Δροπή!!!

I am deeply saddened and astounded to hear this news. The sweeping generalizations in the letter to parishioners that contained no substantive reason to remove our cherished Father from the St. Athanasius Church has left the Greek Orthodox community in shock. Father Nick was there for my family and I during the darkest time in our lives when we lost my dad due to medical error. It was during this time that I began to question my faith. Father Nick stood by us and held our hands through these darkest times and helped us see the light again by being instrumental in renewing our faith. Now I feel the pain of my dad’s loss all over again with the loss of our Spiritual Father from his beloved parish.

Please bring him back. We love him.

I support Fr. Nick. No one could ever replace him. Ever. Love and prayers to him and his Family.

Arlington church without father nick doesn't exist

Fr. Kastanas belongs to the Arlington Greek Orthodox Community. He is the priest who devoted his energy knowledge and love to all the members of the church and the Greater Omogenia of Boston. We demand his return to the Arlington Greek Orthodox Community.

Please bring back Father Kastana he is a great priest and a wonderful person.

Father Nick is the epitome of all things good and kind, his presence is that of comfort, peace and hope. It is terrible what they have done to him.

Father Nick was a great comfort to me during the passing of my Father, he was a kind voice during a difficult time in my life. The parish of Saint Athanasius in Arlington can never replace someone of his compassion and grace. Bring him back.

Father Nick you are in our prayers. The church will not survive without you. We will get you back. We love you and always will!

What is the problem. Turmoil in Churches that cannot be resolved and you get a priest like Fr. Kastanas FIRED Bring back a priest that has compassion has been there not only for his own parishioners but for others as well. What a great man, to be just left without a priest. What is the matter with all that have done this. I am from a different parish and when I have gone to Arlington it has been uplifting and he is inspirational and his words are Gods Words. Shame on them for doing this to a wonderful PRIEST and human being.

Father Kastanas has been there for our family for over 20 years. He is kind, caring, and has guided us through the toughest of times. I moved and I still drive 100 miles to go to his church. This is unacceptable and we will no longer be a part of the parish if he's not there. Please bring him back.
