So when do we start vigils in front of the Metropolitans residence and get this travesty settled. This will be the end of St Athanasius, the church will eventually be empty and the children will have lost their faith in mankind. Nothing will be the same, all for greed, A big mistake I am sure this is not over until we the people prevail and make this right

Who witnessed the last liturgy by Fr. Nick and saw the visitation needs no more convincing. There can be no talk about problems in parish created by Fr. Nick.

He is a great Christian man that thinks of others before himself. This is so unfair and wrong. I hope this situation is turned around and he gets his job back or something even better. He is being persecuted for being a good man and wanting to do the right thing.

These types of behavior at the Metropolis are frightening to me. They allow a priest, who is not a Holy Man, to serve in New Hampshire, but they silent a Holy priest in Arlington. Could there be money involved? The Metropolitan seems to stay on that subject quite frequently. God Bless you Father Nick, and bless all those who stand by you.

I am not actually a parishoner at St. Athansius. I attend the First Parish UU church and among other things, I teach a religious education class called Neighboring Faiths. For the last several years we have brought our 7th grade class to St. Athanasius to experience the Greek Orthodox service. Father Nick was extraordinarily welcoming to our class. He embraced our presence, took time out during the service (!) to explain the liturgy and answer questions. Thanks to Father Nick (and Ioannis M.) it was one of the most personal and engaging visits every year.
One has to have a very deep well of caring to go out of your way for children of a different faith. I can't imagine that the reasons for letting him go are worth the loss.
