This is the the biggest injustice of this century. I have never met anyone as kind and caring as Father Kastanas. Whoever is responsible for relieving Father Kastanas of his position should be ashamed of themselves.
May GOD bless Father Kastanas and his wonderful family.
Sincerely, George Mourgis

Apparently, you've underestimated the impact that Father Nicholas Kastanas has had on many of us and our families in this parish. The decision to remove Father Nicholas Kastanas is abhorrent. As parishioners, we will leave the church empty and have this decision be its undoing and turn our focus on the Metropolitan Methodios, and the Boston Greek Orthodox Archdioceses for lying to us about this matter when questioned, and for allowing such an unchristian ordeal to take place in our parish. Generations, through the thoughtful guidance of Father Nicholas Kastanas, have all worked far too hard and far too long to make this a welcoming Christian community to have it come to this.

This is a terrible and undeserved injustice to Fr. Nick and the entire parish of St. Athanasius. He is a true Christian and a wonderful priest. I will support all efforts to reverse this decision, which is completely unwarranted.

We heartily support keeping Fr. Nick as our parish priest. He is a true servant of God ministering to his faithful flock.
He will survive because the fire of the Holy Spirit within him burns brighter then the demonic fire around him.

Fr Nick is a huge reason I have a strong marriage, became a priest who has the possibility of serving well, and he baptized my only daughter. I chanted Holy Week at St Athanasios this year and have attended services regularly for two years. I don't see how these things could be true about Fr Nick being unchristian. However St Athanasios was exiled from his see four times. I learn Christianity from Fr Kastanas.
30 years a professor of chant at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and his classes are really immersion in the spiritual life of the Church. I don't know what the evidence is, but I know my peace comes from the fact that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Himself, personally cares for those who glorify, serve, and love Him - and even more for those who care for His flock. I love you with all my heart Father!
