This is an absolute outrage. Father Nick is one of the nicest, most kind hearted person i know and i will never return if father Nick doesn't

It's obvious that with over 1600 petition signatures in support of Father Kastanas, Methodios himself has failed to "...preserve the orderly life and unity" of our parish, caused more than enough turmoil, and has "severely damaged the spiritual environment of the community." His words and behavior are "wholly contrary to Christian values." Maybe we should get rid of him. I don't think there would be nearly as much protest.

During my 77 yrs. on this earth, I have never come across a more knowledgeable, more caring, hard working priest that cares about all his parishioners. No other priest is more capable in bringing across God's message in such a charismatic way.

Metropolitan Methodios is a humble and loving spiritual father of our Church. We must give him a chance to fix things for us. He does this out of love for all of us. Give the Metropolitan a chance to lead the Church.

I grew up in this church and find this information of removal very disturbing. Father Nick has been absolutely loved by many and has dedicated many hours of his time for love and support for families when called upon. FATHER NICK NEEDS TO REMAIN AT THE ST. ATHANASIUS THE GREAT CHURCH IN ARLINGTON!!

I support Fr. Kastanas and I am against Metroplitan Methodios' decision to release him from his parish, St. Athanasios.

Elitist cabals in star chamber deciding the fate of a beloved community leader while withholding any pertinent information is an offense against the mores of the parish. Is this a reflection of our secular times? It is certainly a transgression against God.

This news of our beloved priest's removal is devastating. With Father Nick's uplifting spiritual leadership, my Orthodox faith has grown significantly in the years since I met him. He embodies goodness in his joyful words of love and hope, in the magnitude of his selfless service to his parishioners and in his extraordinary acts of compassion. I am daily thankful for Father Nick's presence in my life and pray that our wonderful priest will soon be reunited with his flock. Sending my love and prayers to him and his family.
