How can they get rid of my favorite Doctor who saved my life. A doctor who actually spent time with you and would answer all your questions. I’m not going back to that practice until they bring him back.

In 1999 near death Dr. Zucker and Beth Israel took me in and saved my Life. Here in 2021 I am still here and give my full support to a wonderful Doctor.

13 years ago I met dr. Zucker as a 19yr old newly diagnosed with advanced heart failure. Even though I had issues with the program and some docs twelve years ago whose actions caused me to get an emergency kidney removal at another hospital, I continued going to Newark Beth Israel because of the support, trust, and care I received under dr. Mark Zucker. I will never doubt that he sincerely cared about his patients and would go above and beyond. He would spend so much time with me explaining things and discussing different approaches in a way a young teen could comprehend. It is truly with his guidance and care I am alive today

I can only assume that negotiations are still ongoing betweeen Dr Zucker and the hospital administration. Perhaps Dr Zucker will return with a role in running the entire hospital. I heard this was a possibility.
