Dr. Mark Zucker is a very ethical physician. I have known him since his medical school days at Northwestern. He deserves to be reinstated.

I called Dr. Zucker with concern about my uncle who had been admitted to Morristown Hospital. He returned my call within 10 minutes, listened to my concerns, and spent the next 20 minutes answering questions and easing my anxiety. As my grandmother would have said, 'He's a real mensch." I only wish the same could be said of the directors of Beth Israel. Bring back Dr. Zucker.

Dr Mark Zucker saved my life in the year 1998 October. My family never expected me to survive but Dr Zucker made it possible. Suffering from heart attack, Kinney failure etc etc Dr Zucker took excellent care of me and today in the year 2020 March I must testify that Dr Zucker is not only my Doctor but God sent. I only wish that he returned to N B I Hospital.

I have experienced first hand his passion for medicine and how he has changed lives forever. Ive even transferred patients to him/The Beth from a different hospital system knowing that he’d be the ONLY person to keep that post partum cardiomyopathy patient alive until they receive a heart.....

Dr. Zucker and his team saved my life. I arrived at Beth Israel in end stage heart failure from dilated cardiomyopathy, and after a 2nd failed open heart surgery and multiple futile procedures. The hospital I was transferred from gave me no hope for survival. Although the team was given the false information that I was uninsured, I was quickly stabilized and placed at the top of the transplant list. I was an extremely high risk case, and the care and attention I received was beyond any expectations. Dr. Zucker visited my bedside regularly and often, going above and beyond in his care and attention. He treated me as a person, not just a patient. My surgery was complex and dangerous, my after care scrupulous, and follow-up consistent and thorough. I am alive today because of Dr. Zucker. In addition, he leads and trains so many doctors while setting an example of the best version of care medicine has to offer. The extent of his reach cannot be calculated. Not only should Dr. Mark Zucker be reinstated, he deserves a substantial raise, as the work he does has no price tag.
