At FCHS our Jag (free period) is my life saver. Whether it's making up work that I missed, completing late work, working on HW and studying, getting tutoring from a teacher, or just working on a group project, I ALWAYS use it to my full advantage and its the only thing keeping me from stressing out.

The school is forcing away our time to hang out with friends when only small number of students are the problem. They should try to fix those students and not harm the entire community of students

As the parent of a 10th grader who benefits from Cougar time, I strongly urge Oakton to keep this valuable time slot for students. I will take this mattet to the school board if necessary.

This is unfair not only to upperclassmen, who are used to utilizing cougar time for many purposes, but also to the freshmen, who will suffer without time to adjust to the school. As a junior, this frustrates me greatly and I, along with most of the school population, know that any other type of system OHS tries will fail and damage any productivity and/or positive relations between students and teachers.
