Almost all test corrections have to be done during cougar time. We need cougar time. Students should have a say in decisions concerning students..

Extra help, studying,m and a time for retakes would all be destroyed grades would definitely start dropping significantly.

CT is an essential part of the academic careers of the many students at oakton. The people who use CT as a time to work on retakes and other materials should not be punished for the failures of the few who do not use CT effectively or wisely. The students of oakton need this time to decompress in school to get things done for classes, most are taking AP courses and even if they are not, CT allows for time to relax . All in all removing CT would only cause more stress on students but also teachers as well. Please keep CT to benefit the the community of oakton highschool as a whole.

I really like to use cougar time to visit only the classes I need help with and the drama department plans rehearsals during cougar times, which would no longer be possible with the new system. Why punish all the students if only some of the students are abusing cougar time?

CT is the only time I have to vist teachers who cants stay after, retake tests, work on group projects, or finish homework becuase of afterschool sports, or even just relax so your ready for the next set of classes. Removing it will only cuase students stress becuase they might have a test next period and need the class to study! Also some classes CT’s are ment for toutoring, i need to suceed and CT helps greatly

Cougar Time is useful bc you get a break from school for 45 minutes where you can still be productive but see friends
