David deCastro, a young chef from Boylston, MA, with extensive international food preparation experience was a contestant on Food Network’s season premiere of Beat Bobby Flay. The show, titled “Foreign Relations,” aired at 10 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He was eliminated from competition in the first round.
We, the undersigned, ask that deCastro be brought back to compete in another BBF episode for the following reasons:
1) We feel his challenge dish was superior in concept, plating and overall appearance.
2) As his introduction on the show pointed out, he has an interesting life story and travel history and we want to see more of him.
3) We want to see David compete against Bobby.
4) Frankly, we feel he deserves a rematch..

David's dish looked like a comolete meal instead of the other Chef's , while watching the show it made me crave some steak as I was watching lrepare his dish with some onions, blue cheese and balsamic reduction. He should absolutely have won that round..
A strictly political decision was made as Bobby struggles with Asian cuisine. Not the right decision. Pot stickers? Seriously? I mean, come on.
I think David deCastro should not have been eliminated. His challenge dish was a concept which was superior in plating and appearance. In addition, I believe he should be given a rematch with Bobby. Please be fair to David and allow him to reveal his superior cooking skills. Thank you. Dena Launet
I really wanted to taste David's preparation more so than the other one. His flavors seemed to be a better match to the type of meat that was used.
david is a talented chef who cooks with soul. Besides the skills he possesses. A rematch would attract many viewers!
I want to say that my mother created this petition and sadly she passed away! This is a great reminder of how much she loved me! Thnx to all that signed! Love you Mom

Bring David back to beat Bobby! He deserves a rematch anyway because they spelled Boylston wrong ;)
