On The Same Name, celebs will switch places with everyday people who share their name. Each episode will focus on a different celebrity as they try out a less-glamorous life, while one far-from-famous guy or gal gets a taste of the fabulous celebrity lifestyle.

Rumor has it, Same Name was a pilot and was pulled to air reruns of a show which CBS has decided to give a 3rd season to. Though that shows ratings are not good, CBS hopes that people will start watching it before they air its 3rd season, not giving Same Name a fair chance.
Same Name was not promoted well enough for people to even know it was being aired Sunday nights yet CBS watched it ratings. It's replacements ratings are far worse which leads me to believe, with your help, we can get Same Name back on air!!

I have sent a formal inquiry to the CBS programming department requesting a review of the decision to cancel Same Name after only four episodes. My focus now is obtaining the specific viewership data for the replacement program to demonstrate that the network transition failed to capture an audience.

This show was actually fun to watch. CBS always cancels the good stuff way to fast. Bring it back!
MY WHOLE FAMILY WATCHED THIS. IT WAS SO FUNNY TO SEE HOW THE OTHER HALF LIVES. DONT LET IT DIE.
I missed the commercials so I didnt know it was on until it was already gone. They should give it a better time slot.
seriously bring this back. it was the only thing worth watching on a sunday night.
I really loved the episodes with the singers. It was way better than those boring reruns they put on instead. Please give it another shot.

My husband and I really enjoyed the show. My uncle is a Don Johnson, so that would be cool. I was born Angie Dickinson. There are 2 swaps for you right here in Texas! I just think this show was before it's time.
