Are Guardians intended to blend in? Correct me if I’m wrong, but school shooters have never entered a school, armed and seeking out colors, guardians, or even SROs for that matter. The focus should be your safety, yes, but also the ease with which a student can seek you, visually identify you and request your assistance. A perpetrator can, and often does, wear all black. On a different note, What will changing colors cost?

I agree that the current shirts are tactically unsafe. I also agree with Cilenti. Light grey or white for summer. Its hot out there.

Get rid of the clown shirts. Get back to the vision of what this program is supposed to be.

I agree the yellow shirts are tactically unsafe. As I said during our virtual meeting However I would rather go to light gray summer shirt they gave us or an option. Black is too hot.

I can deal with the names I’m called on a daily basis such as bumble bee, etc.. it is not tactically safe it presents us as a large target and the badge gives the public a perception we are police officers, which we are not.
