Great Season 1 - I am so disappointed the series was canceled. I have NOT seen this storyline elsewhere -- WWI upper-crust British volunteer nurses in France. Nor the theme of how a very personal, intimate pre-war relationship between British and German citizens is impacted by the War. How loving someone from a different country becomes a crime. This was a wonderful and smart series - well-written and acted.

This show must continue. GReat story line with a wonderful cast. Such an open ended last episode is very sad and unfair!! STOP making decisions without considering your viewers!!

I have been watching The Crimson Field on Acorn TV here in NZ and thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s definitely more story to tell here so let’s get on with it!

I loved this show. I’m so disappointed that the BBC. has refused to have further seasons. I looked at them to have more independence instead of caving like so many American studios.

Im from Philippines and I'm sually not very fond of watching series but this story came out of my recommendation section from yýoutube so I said to myself who not try it since I've got nothing else to do. It's been 6 years or so, since this series was last aired and I'm very heartbroken to found that BBC cancelled its season 2, this film moved me to my core, it was very heart wrenching, intriguing, very impactful. I just hope that there will be season 2 or more for this.

This is a great historical drama. I fell in love with this series on the first episode!! This is one of the best historical dramas I have seen.
