A lovely family show, doing what the BBC does best. A real story, social history with a strong conservation message. I do not understand why they axe brilliant programmes like and fill the schedules with repeats and programmes that aren't suitable for whole family viewing.

what an absolutely terrible decision. My 8 yeah old loved replaying the episodes to watch again and again!

unbelievable there isn't a lot on television worth watching these days. This was one to watch. what are they going to put on instead - reruns of old programmes
