The show was a great success considering the ridiculous time slot it was put in - the writing and acting was superb and it is bizarre that the BBC have chosen to axe what had potential to be one of their flagship dramas!

it's such a shame that programmes that are not a patch on Our Zoo are commissioned for more series when their ratings are nowhere near as good. tut tut BBC!
