One of the few programmes I made an effort to watch and never missed. I was disappointed when the first series ended and am even more disappointed that there isn't to be another. Such a change from the usual, and being local to the area as well, fascinating for other reasons.

I was born and lived in Chester for 22yrs, my children and their children have all visited the zoo and they have all watched the show,we would love to see more of theMottershead family and their struggles to have The Chester Zoo become such a success that is is today

I work at the Oakfield in Chester Zoo and can say that I have become more aware of the zoo's history now, so much so I can pass such information on to customers and guests. Its a great number booster for the zoo and helps put Chester on the map.

A lovely family show, that didn't rely on violence, bad language or sex to tell it's story. Lovely performances too, there should be more of this type of programme.
