Bring back a school bus for Creekside neighborhood to and from Raba elementary

Let’s keep our children safe.

It is a manner of safety for these kids not mileages. Please provide Bus transportation for these kids. Many parents have to work and the bus gives these parents peace of mid that the kids are safe. A child safety and well been should be top priority.

My son relies on taking the bus from Raba home and it would be a long and dangerous walk across a very busy street.

I live in creekside, As a grown adult with decades of driving experience Westoverhills Blvd is terrifying. Has whom ever made this rule visited the intersection during school traffic times? It's a death trap. An idea, maybe just a community bus stop at the club house could be a compromise?

Westover Hills is a very busy street with a speed limit of 45 mph. Crazy to think elementary kids would need to cross that intersection.

Westover Hills Blvd is a very busy street both during morning and afternoon hours. Without a crossing guard the school is endangering children who must cross without adult supervision due to parents being at work, etc. My neice shouldnt have to worry about her daughter's crossing the major street to get to and from school while she is at work.

Students safety should be top priority! Westoverhills is a busy street!

Saving money at the expense of potentially maiming or killing children, including my granddaughter is unacceptable. Without a doubt, horrible accidents will happen if you insist on this flawed policy.

The distance from Deertail to Reba is very far To walk. Especially for young boys and girls ages 5-9. Think about cold and rainy days when it is dark outside. I suggest that members of the NISD take a walk from the schoo to thedeep side of Creekside and think How safe it really is for the young ones.

Please bring back the buses. This is a dangerous walk and with the weather rain cold etc this is an awful thing to do and put kids in danger.

Common sense and care for these children. Additional bus stops will not affect the bottom line here.

Bring back the school bus for Raba Elementary and the partner schools in the district. It is not safe for these little ones to be walking and having to cross across the street with any means of safety. There are absolutely no speed limits for the school zone and 45 is not safe what so ever!

Bring back the buses for the safety of the children!

I find it hard to understand how the school finds it safe for my 10 and 5 year old to cross West overhills with all the traffic that passes thru there. I ask for NISD to reconsider this decision and actually take the children's well being on this!

My daughter rides the bus to school every morning. Without the school bus I will now have to ask for different time to clock in at work. The streets are way to busy for anyone to walk. At times it's dark! What a horrible inconvenience!!!

NISD should be ashamed of removing buses on such a busy street.

Westover street has cars that go at a minimum of 45 mph and many more cars exceed the speed limit on any given day. Unless you plan to hire school crossing guards, NISD needs to keep the bus transportation service to that neighborhood. It is dangerous to think that children will be crossing such a busy and dangerous street. Do you really want to wait til a grade school student gets hit before you realize what a mistake this is?

The Creek Side subdivision relies heavily on elementary school transportation. It is ridiculous with the amount of taxes we pay NISD that they can not provide transportation across a dangerous street for children.

I ask officials making the decision to remove the bus route to come down 5700 block of Deertail Crk and walk with my barely five year old to Raba School and really think if a child can make that trek alone.
