Saving money is not worth the safety risk to children. Put children's lives above your fiscal bottom line!

Its a 33 min walk from my home to Raba. This walk involves 1 high speed intersection that is not marked as a school zone. The side walks are poorly light during dark. NISD is placing a high risk on our kids. Who knows if this long challenging walk will decrease their performance academically. Please return bus service to Creekside for our elementary school age childern. Its the right thing to do.

There are currently no school zones from Creekside entrance to Raba Elementary and back or crossing guards within that route to cross over Westover Hills Rd. This places children at risk of getting hit by vehicles in addition to high rate of speeds cars travel along that route. Although sidewalks are up it is not safe for elementary children to be expected to walk to and from school

Children need to be safe going to and from school, the heavy traffic in Westover Hills and Senisa Sprongs and Arcadia Crk can be very dangerous!

We really do need to have in place like before for transportation school buses to come through our Creekside neighborhood this coming fiscal school year in August! Its not safe for either one of my granddaughters to walk so far from
previous stops.
Thanks!

We pay too much on taxes each year at least we deserve that our kids are safe going to school

Traffic is already bad enough to have kids walk along side Westover Hills let alone cross in the morning. Traffic to drop off children going down Raba Drive can be bad but now that there are businesses with some construction on Raba Drive traffic is going to get even worse on Westover Hills due to parent drop off and make Westover Hills even more unsafe. This is a bad move on NISD's part, their board should be replaced for unsafe thinking!

My son is too young to walk home from school. Kids get distracted very easily. I live across the street from bus drop off and kids just cross they are not paying attention...I saw many times where bus driver had to honk at cars that would not stop while bus had it’s flashing red lights on. Parents would have to go on to the middle of the street to make sure kids crossed safely.

Westover Hills is a very busy street for little ones to be crossing.

While there is sidewalks, walking alongside and crossing Westover Hills Blvd is extremely unsafe!

This entirely unsafe and short-sighted by NISD to implement this change.
