I heartily concur with the dangers in youngsters crossing Westover Hills Blvd. Excessively long traffic lights would also tend to give children the desire to cross against the light.

Too dangerous for children without a cross guard. We pay enough taxes! I don't have children, but anyone with children should not have to worry about child making it to school safely. Good project for Brockhouse with this petition

We shouldnt have children walking back home in a congested area especially crossing streets. we need school buses dropping off children in the sub divisions. it is a long distance. keep the same routes as usual.

Students safety should come first!! I would never let my child walk this far to school. Cars flying by are too dangerous!!

This is a nightmare and a great disservice to our children. While the massive 848.91 million bond that just passed was suppose to add buses, instead we lose buses as soon as it is passed. Parent pick up for these schools with over a thousand students will be horrific.

Kids should not have to walk that far and against traffic conditions when in the middle of rush hour traffic and people being in a rush would potentially not see the kids.

Our kids safety first at all times. No excuses Superintendent. I've actually heard of kids being hit by drivers inside school zones.

I think it’s crazy that the Northside District is stopping Bud service for kids in elementary my grand baby goes to Valley Hi and we live a mile an half from there and they expect for her to walk down Ray Ellison in the morning when there’s so much traffic going and coming from Medina Base I can’t believe there gonna put so many children in danger I believe if anything happens to a student there responsible for them 100% . There full of crap The Northside District.

It is absolutely insane that the expectation is my 8 year walk to school. Maybe the committee should try walking to and from for 2.5 miles in this heat. And hope that they aren't tardy.

Walking to school for children from Creekside to Raba is too dangerous. Traffic in that area is bad enough already, if buses are removed it's a recipe for accidents.

I don't agree with this. Even after putting my daughter on the bus I've seen crazy drivers passing the bus by getting on the opposite lane in our neighborhood. I can't even imagine what type of danger these kids will be put in walking on the sidewalks or even crossing Westover hills. The distance from my house to Raba is 30 min walking distance. The exit out of our neighborhood has a high slope which will exhaust our children prior from getting to school.

I don’t think that it will be safe for kids to try to cross Westover hills . Cars go really fast in that street and this is just an accident waiting to happen . Plus , the line to drop kids off or pick kids up is ridiculous as it is . Kids get there late all the time because of the traffic on Raba Drive .
