I have a 5yr old that goes to Fernandez and I am a single mother and I am not able to afford a after school program. I walked to school before and it takes me 45 minutes to one hour. I don't feel like it's safe for him to walk home. I am super stressed and overwhelmed with all this and school hasn't even started. you

I am really starting to think NISD is not the best school district in San Antonio. Removing the bus route was not an educated decision. I am distraught by this poor decision making. There are no crosswalks, school zones/signs to decrease speed to 20mph to allow these young children a safe 30-40 minute walk to school depending on where you live in the subdivision.

NISD needs to bring school buses back. Some parents don’t even have vehicles and rely on getting their kids safely to school. This will be a danger to children

I’m in support of this cause. Please also adda bus to The a Retreat Legacy Trails!! When it rains, Hunt Lane gets flooded and kids walking to school get soaked when cars pass through the Main Street in Hunt Lane and Military. Please keep buses on this neighborhood as well. Thank You!

What about people who don’t have transportation to get to Raba I’m sure they won’t be having 100% attendance Once the attendance rates go down they’ll do something about it because the state gets their funding through attendance

I believe that Westover Hills is too dangerous to be crossed by elementary school aged children

You cannot have elementary age children crossing a large street like Westover Hills!

It is inconsiderate and a huge safety hazard for our kids to be forced to walk to school. Many families depend on the bus system to transport their kids to and from school. Our home taxes were raised again for the huge budget Northside got approved for the upcoming academic years. We demand bus services for the safety of kids.

They have done the same thing to us for our elementary school. The routes their mysterious "committee" approved district-wide are not safe or reasonable for our elementary school kids.

WE need this route. My kids ride the bus because Westover Hills is too dangerous for them to cross.
