Bring back a school bus for Creekside neighborhood to and from Raba elementary

I am concerned that my first grader will be exposed to significant traffic risks, especially in the morning where people drive quickly down nearby roads.

Children should not have to walk 2 miles to get to school. Its not safe in any way.

Elementary students should not have to walk 2 miles across major streets to get to school.

My son will be in 5th grade this year and having both driven and walked his route to school I feel this is a safety hazard to make him walk 1.8 miles to school on busy roads. Unfortunately, with our schedules I cannot drop off or pick up most days without my child being late to school.

I would like transparency. Who is on the committee to decide whether our children are provided with buses or not. 5-11 year olds walking on a hazardous road, no school zone signs? It won't be long before my child is in middle school, so now he has to walk down culebra, cross the 4 lane highway, and continue down culebra to school. Who are these people that think this is a safe route? I would like to know the reasoning behind this.

This constant chipping away at safely transporting our children HAS TO STOP! You want to provide less service, then demand less millage!

This walk for elementary school children is ridiculous and was clearly made by people who have never driven that road on a busy weekday morning.

It is very unsafe for our children to be crossing westover hills, there is no school zone speed limit sign, its a 25-30 min walk from neighborhood to school, and transportation dept is saying it is up to school if they want to put a crossing guard.

My students attend Mary Michael Elem and the buses were also taken away from them. My youngest son is 5 years old starting Kinder. NISD expects him to walk home on a busy street 2 miles. No crossing guards no stop lights no support. Absoulty unsafe

Shame on you NISD ... Our children deserve safe transportation back and forth to school.

A walk from creekside to Raba elementary is not safe for our children the traffic on Westover hills is really not safe for them please bring back the bus

Imagine the morning traffic on Westover Hills and young children. How many lives will be lost if they have to walk when the bus route is taken a way!
