I petition to bring 4th and 5th grades back to Lyndon Station Elementary. The reason our family moved to Lyndon Station instead of staying in Wisconsin Dells was because of this wonderful school.

My fathers side of the family went to Lyndon School as well as myself and it was a great time of my life. Bring it back. Keep Lyndon the way it should and always has been - the best.

I know from experience how hard it is on a small town, village , etc when downsizing a school. The district needs the tax dollars from people moving into it not out. Also the town needs them to survive. As long as the facility is open, utilize it to it's full potential. If it moved them because of overcrowding, that is a whole new subject!

My daughter attended lyndon elem from 2013 until this the end of this past year due to us moving. We still talk about lyndon very often and miss it dearly. Lyndon elem sure left a great impression and mark in on our family. This school needs to stay definitely!

Studies have shown parents stay more involved at the 4th and 5th grade levels when those grade levels are in the same school as younger aged siblings in k-3. The impact on families, taxes, community involvement is too tool are too large to too large to be ignored. My two cents.

Lyndon citizens are very proud of their school. Let them keep it and help them to let it grow.
