My name is Maddie Harris, and I'm a student at Parkersburg South High. The Madrigal and Chamber choirs have been denied our annual trip to compete in the National Heritage Festival (held in Atlanta, GA from April 14-19 this year) due to an alleged paper work mistake.
We each paid $550 out of pocket in order to attend this event, and now it is being taken away due to a mistake we had no part in. A mistake made by administration is not something we should be penalized for.
We need YOUR help to persuade our Board of Education to overturn their decision. We have worked tirelessly for this for nearly a year, and we are not going to give up without a fight.
