I started this because I felt like Brian Wilson had not been given the recognition he earned through his decades of work. It is humbling to see that so many others feel the same way and I am truly grateful for your enthusiasm.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because I never imagined so many people would agree that Brian Wilson belongs in such company. This belongs entirely to you for recognizing his genius and giving this idea a life of its own.

Because he came up with PET SOUNDS, and SMiLE! He's a musical genius, and THAT is well-known among the general public AND his musical peers.
God Only Knows is the greatest pop song ever written. Paul McCartney and I agree on that. Wouldn't it be Nice. Fun Fun Fun. Caroline No. Good Vibrations. And Don't Worry Baby aren't far behind.
