British national who’s paid into a pension scheme and is owed the money irrespective of where I live. British nationals are British nationals wherever they live. Protect us as you’d protect your own.

Our rights should be ring fenced under any decent democratic government

So many pensioners are in fear that their health and pension increases will be removed, with no concrete news ("under discussion" is too vague, we need more details. Where are the new discussions - if they exist at all - up to, and what points are stopping them from moving forward) - and there are no real plans to help those who may be forced back to the UK by the UK government. We are also concerned about friends and family still in the UK who will lose the benefits of European Citizenship, and will in practice no longer be able to apply for jobs in Europe (in practice, if an applicant doesn't hold a current work permit, they are passed over, because the time wasted if the work permit application fails, runs into months), and they will lose the opportunity to study in Europe.

I have lived in Spain, have worked hard to support my self and build a life here only to find myself 25 days away from brexit still no wiser than I was at the time off the referendum unable to make decisions to secure my future, suffering with anxiety and very stressed about the whole situation, not knowing what will happen to my future health care, pension, and my rights. The government should be ring fencing our rights or at least should have secured them through negotiation by now. I feel that we are abandoned by our home country that i have paid taxes into the UK system, DO THE RIGHT THING GET OUR RIGHTS SECURED AND RING FENCED NOW.

Please treat us all respectfully as human beings and not as pawns in a political power struggle supported by a handful of wealthy media owners to help benefit their elite backers who are shorting the country and playing the currency markets in expectation of no deal.

We need confirmation of the UKs agreement as we have been in limbo for too long and our choice is to remain in Spain.

Please ring fence our current rights and those of the Spanish citizens in the UK (the NHS will collapse if the Spanish doctors and nurses have to leave), not to would be scandalous

I have worked hard employed hundreds of people in the U.K. paid taxes and NI. Now as an early retiree l see my freedom to live in any EU country destroyed, please retain all our rights in the EU. Ideally give us a confirmatory referendum so we can bin Brexit once and for all

Brexit will be a disaster for everyone on both sides of the channel. We must have another referendum and surely we can stop Brexit..

It is immoral, unethical and outrageous that important and valuable rights that we have held for so long (and had every expectation of retaining indefinitely) are ripped away on the back of a deeply flawed referendum that pandered to ignorance and xenophobia, whipped up by politicians who are proven liars.

The law is not supposed to be retrospective. Those of us who have chosen to leave the UK and live in the EU legally should have our original rights ring fenced. I have paid all my NI contributions in the UK. I should not have my health care taken away or the enhancements to my measly state pension. If that happens I will expect a rebate.

We were not allowed a vote on what will affect us the most. Brexit needs to be stopped for all our sakes both in Britain and here Mainland EUrope. It will only benefit wealthy Brits who will still be able to afford to move around EUrope, as per always, while that automatic right and many others will be lost to ordinary Brits.

I've been a UK European since the age of eight and have lived in Spain for nearly thirty years. I was disenfranchised and not given a say about something that directly affects me, my work, my family and my life. To add insult to injury, the UK government still hasn't reciprocated the Spanish government's offer to maintain our rights. Indeed, the UK hasn't come up with anything, keeping us in a tortuous limbo of uncertainty about our futures.
