Solar farms are an important part of securing clean energy for the future, but not at the risk of our food security. A more appropriate location on marginal land should be found for this project.

There are many places in Australia that would be more suitable to place a solar farm, prime agricultural land that produces our food is not one of them. Food security issues are going to become a problem in our future, so it seems nonsensical to be using food producing land for renewable energy.

Why destroy Australian family owned farms when there is plenty of space to be able to achieve this without the destruction.

Brewongle is the wrong place for 400,000 solar panels. The State Government needs to respect the strong long history of farmers in the area and across Australia and plan in the future where solar panels are best placed.

I am signing this petition not because I don't support solar but because I support the prime argricultural land of Brewongle. I support my home town small rural community and my family as fifth generation farmers.

Seriously they get plenty of sunshine in Sydney why not out solar panels on the rooftops of every high rise in Sydney they should power us up for many years. That area is already an eye sore so can't make it worse. Unlike our beautiful rural country side

This is in the wrong spot. After this is built the land will no longer able to be farmed. If you look long term, the land will produce far more than a solar farm will short term!
