Breast Cancer Survivors want change to new shocking policy

I'm a survivor - thus far.

It is ridiculous to say these services are not to be continued unlike all politician sallery rhe rest of us live in the real world we cannot afford to buy these items it's a stressful enough time without been told you've to pay more money would run into a few thousand to have to get all these things as needed this country a disgrace if they let this happen

I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer and had to pay 900 euro for a wig because I don't have a medical card or private health insurance . And that's on top of all the otheright charges

This needs to be stopped

Survivors need all the support they can get

This must not go ahead

They should not have to pay for anything they need they are suffering enough

It's a disgrace that women have to go through some much pain and suffering with their breast cancer and now the HSE is adding to their misery.

A woman with breast cancer does not need any more stress in her life. Please reverse the proposed changes

Well done for starting this petition and drawing awareness to the proposed changes. It'll be a huge blow for women if they take effect.

I am a post bilateral mastectomy person and a medical card holder. WHY and HOW could the HSE decision makers choose such vulnerable women in their planning?

Signing because these items should be fully funded. As should surgical reconstruction, which is fully funded in places like Germany. I would personally never have breast surgery even life saving surgery because it is against my philosophical believes, but I would never deny others care

Roches, you were awesome in your support for Grainne, my partner for 30 years. I couldnt ever thank or advertise you enough. In a terrible time, with a great medical team etc, yiz stood out as sooo empathetic, caring and professional - ty.
