These kids deserve to show their school spirit. Why take this Highschool tradition and experience away? In my opinion, the school is already dark and gloomy. Let the kids liven up the place. I am appalled that the kids have to get a petition go for something the principal and staff should be eager to allow. This is a new school for these kiddos and what was meant to be a great new school is turning out to be a not so good experience. So sad!!!

Encourage school pride and spirit. Many of these students started high school somewhere else and then were told they had to come back. Now is the time to let the students start their own traditions and memories at Braswell. Posters, pep rally's and spirit days help build school spirit.

Many kids weren't too happy about being transferred from other schools. My son among them . He has now embraced Braswell and acts like a maniac at school events. lol Some are still coming around slowly. Anything that can encourage school spirit and pride in the students in a positive way should be considered. Let these kids get pumped up ! GO BENGALS ! Welcome to the JUNGLE BABY !!!

Let the kids create the memories that will stay with them for their lifetime. There is tramendous potential for those to have extrodinary school spirit. The spirit they have already shown at sporting events has been impressive. Image how great it would be if they could show that spirit inside the school.

As a parent of the cheer manager its frustrating that she isnt allowed to.participate and be involved or experience "spirit" events. Football and cheering are a huge part of highschool after all!

Since the inception of Braswell, it's been repeatedly stated that the student body would have the opportunity to shape the traditions and future of the new high school. This would be the students in action, taking on that challenge and creating the vision of the Braswell High School legacy they wish to pass on to future generations.

If you take all of the fun out of school, the kids are going to lose interest. Good luck teaching disinterested kids.

My cousin is a sophomore at your school. At my school we celebrate and have a huge homecoming tradition and I think it's only fair that every highschool student is able to experience that
