My son has to go to Gateway because of his struggles in middle school. As long as its tasteful and has to do with there education or the path that got them where they are let them speak! Start a new trend. (:

It is an honor to represent the transition from two huge portions of young adult life. Being able to decorate a cap being proud of how far you have come and where you are going is something to fight for.

It's unreal not letting seniors decorate their cap!! It's a time of celebration, not a time of seriousness...

I believe last year CUHSD tried to ban cap painting because it could "encourage competition"?? Needless to say, they failed to enforce the rule and we all wore our pretty college bound caps, and what a surprise, nothing bad happened because of it!!! Why are you trying so hard to enforce a stupid rule lol, let the kids be proud of their accomplishments!! Stop being so grumpy cuhsd!! Listen to Beyonce and be happy!!

Such a shame that CUHSD is trying to take this away, but I am not surprised. Good luck on getting this right back! I know I will save my decorated cap for the rest of my life.
