I must say, I’m Young, only 17 years old, but even then, the thought of leaving this world forever just makes me nauseous to the core. I cannot imagine an unending darkness forever. Yes of course, I might periodically choose to “die” to experience some tranquility, but I never want to be cut off from my consciousness forever. I have loved ones, and I want to experience the various joys of life. Brain preservation for me represents one of the greatest leaps of mankind, one of the greatest acts of rebellion against this cruel and malignant world. It represents us taking control of our own lives, and mastering nature and eradicating suffering and pain. That is why I support Brain preservation, not just because it’ll reduce my own suffering but the suffering of millions of others like me

I strongly support the mission of brain preservation with the goal of future revival. I think people should have the right to choose to preserve their brains at the time of their legal death without any interference from others. Sadly, as far as I know, the legal right to access consistently high-quality brain preservation has not been granted anywhere in the world today.

Absolutely amazing scientific research seeking evidenced based processes in order to make possible the preservation of neurologic function, memory, and knowledge!

People in the future will look back in disgrace seeing that such an important mind-saving intervention has been neglected for so long.

Please, help us make this happen. Not for me, but for everyone you’ve ever known and for everyone you will know. This is some of the most significant research in our history. Humanity needs this. We all need this.

I am certain that brain preservation is possible right now if secret technologies related to brain monitoring using Remote Neural Monitoring are thoroughly researched. We are wasting time thinking this is futuristic

I would love to have my brain preserved so I can be uploaded and live on in the future in an AI body and help contribute to making a better world for all of us to live in.

I have been researching the prospects for Whole Brain Emulation for past few years. Whole Brain Emulation is lot closer than what most people and even most neuroscientists think, especially for billionaires.

I have found the notion of death terrifying sine i was 6. I want crupreservation to be an option in hospitals around the world. Putting neurons into a computer sounds the most plausible idea.

The concept of mind upload means everything to me. It is the only way I'm able to push myself through what feels like an otherwise hopeless existence. It drives me to succeed where I would have otherwise failed. Without this hope, I can't live. It's hard to explain why, so I won't get into it here. I hope some day to help build the technology to upload a mind to a machine. I'm very far from that goal, and I have no clue if my present path will allow me the opportunity, but I'm trying my best to get as close to this dream as possible.

Brain preservation is the key to extending human life beyond its current capabilities.

Preserving the structure of the brain is paramount to achieving immortality. ASC is by far the best option available for attaining this goal. I for one hope to someday be preserved through ASC. I want to see other planets, other galaxies, alien civilizations, and learn of the true nature of the universe. If there is even a small chance of this dream becoming reality then I see no reason not to pursue it.

All the hard drives from all the old computers that I've owned get preserved. It seems obvious that the same care should be applied to my brain.

Knowing what I have learned about the state of brain preservation, assisted suicide, and modern palliative care, euthanasia followed by ASC would by far give me the most preferable and peaceful death based on my personal beliefs. I believe that in the near future, as widespread understanding of the brain and confidence in humanity’s future improves, an increasing population will also benefit from having this option on the deathbed. Addressing any reservations that the neuroscience and medical communities currently have against ASC should therefore be considered a top priority.

Second only to becoming a multi-planetary species, I can think of nothing more important to preserving this valuable record that we were once here. Imagine the knowledge sharing and rich family histories that will span millennia.

I see this as a very faint hope of a chance at a longer life. No matter how faint though. The goal of this research should interest anyone who still lives.

Considering that some of us see death not as the loss of function, but as loss of information in the brain and body, it would seem ethically questionable if the medical community were to deprive people of the chance to prolong their life. Shouldn't people be allowed to opt into a medical procedure that would keep their brain "alive" even if unconscious and non-functioning (just as someone in a coma might wish to be kept on life support even while they are unconscious)?
