What a bonus this would be to the community, as well as a draw for more business from the surrounding area as well as schools. Silent sports such as skiing and biking should embrace this collectively, as they both will benefit as will the greater community of Edina.

The addition of cross country skiing to the Braemar golf course is a great way to increase its usage while leveraging the existing infrastructure. It would be another example of how Edina promotes healthy lifestyles for its residents, and it would benefit the more than 200 students (ranging from completely new skiers to competitive racers) who join the high school team to have a place to call their training space. This is a no-cut sport and provides a great experience for kids of all skill levels.

More snow making trails will take some of the pressure off the few trails we have and help grow the sport. Based on usage of other snow making trails it will be well used.

Snow making during lean snow seasons keeps skiers active. This is good for the Twin Cities area. Please make it a priority.
