This is another great opportunity8 to provide recreation, training, and enjoyment in Edina. Cross Country/Nordic skiing has been growing as more trails are available.

I strongly support snow-making for ski trails in Edina. As an avid skier, it would be wonderful to have one more option with reliable snow. I know I would use the trails.

I'm an Edina High School Graduate (class of 2013) and former member of the high school nordic ski team. The nordic ski team was the highlight of my time in high school and the construction at Edina High School is limiting the available practice areas on campus. Ski trails at Braemar will benefit not only the 200+ students who are on the ski team annually but the Edina community as a whole. These ski trails will create new opportunities for Edina residents to take part in a lifelong sport (and one that can become a family-wide activity) with one of the kindest communities I've had the pleasure of being a member of.

Cross country skiing is a silent sport and a healthy pursuit.

This is critical for the EHS Nordic Team and our community. The team has over 200 kids and is a no-cut sport--one of the few. it builds community and is inclusive and welcoming. Braemar Park Recreation proposal must be passed.

Well designed and well maintained trails throughout the woods make for a safer environment for all. I have seen the positive improvements at Theodore Wirth park after Mpls Parks put in more trails. These professionally designed ski trails at Braemar will definitely improve this section of Edina AND give countless hours of outside exercise to student athletes and residents.

This is a very good thing to do with winters becoming less reliable. Plus, the timing is great, as the cost will be less due to the other construction

This is sorely needed in the West Metro.

Great thing to do. I hope more areas will do the same. I skied a park outside Brighton, MI that has a few klms of manmade snow. It was wonderful to be on snow when it was cold, but no natural snow. Good luck!!!

This will not only be an asset to the city, but also the high school and elementary schools.

Is there any way to add a dog park to the area? Braemar could charge for a pass to pay any expenses.

This would be a wonderful addition to the parks, biking, and walking trails already in our lovely city.

I support snowmaking at Braemar! It would ultimately benefit Edina and the surrounding area.

I've sent a detailed letter to the Park Board and City Council, and encourage you to do the same if you have time.
