My name is Brady Poisal, and I believe I would make a good senator due to my experience. Having already served for one year and being awarded senator of the semester last semester, I have demonstrated my commitment through my work within the IWU community. I have actively participated in the Advocacy and Awareness Committee, the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and the Ad-Hoc Committee for Affordable Education Materials as a senator. Additionally, I hold roles as a Lead Programmer for Campus Activities Board (CAB), the founding Treasurer for Awareness, Wellness, & Education (A.W.E.), the Recruitment Co-Chair for Phi Gamma Delta, and I serve as a Residential Advisor (RA) for Munsell Hall.

My main goal for the upcoming year is to pass a resolution aimed at reducing the costs of educational materials, including textbooks, to make education more affordable for students.
