Terrible way to treat a paying customer, let alone a human being! I will definitely be steering clear of this airline. Perhaps we should also petition United to change their policy concerning bumping passengers to offer maximum compensation and to not prioritize paid confirmed passengers over the last minute desires of their employees

Disgraceful treatment of a fare paying passenger by the airline company. Hope there is a massive boycott and the company goes under.

The corporation needs to be accountable for this to the maximum legally achievable extent, and so do the officers involved, as individuals. No one in the world is buying the argument that the man "fell." The officers' names should be immediately released to the public, in order to ensure that they will not be vetted for any security or enforcement position before undergoing an extensive mandatory retraining course and before spending a court-ordered period during which they will not be permitted any potential "use-of-force" contact with members of the public, in order to protect the public at large from the consequences of the initial training that they gone through. The training and certification agency or sub-contractor should be extensively investigated, potentially fined, and official recommendations for "change of operating procedure" should be made as soon as possible, under court supervision.

Sadly, it was legal for UNITED to call the police, as the passenger would not comply, but it is abhorrent and disgusting that the CEO, of a multinational corporation, would publicly support this sort of treatment. That is just horrible.

I DO HOPE THAT HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION JOIN TO FIGHT AGAINST THE CHICAGO AIRPORT POLICE OFFICERS AND UNITED AIRLINE FOR LETTING SUCH INCIDENT TO HAPPEN TO A PAYING CUSTOMER!! THIS IS REALLY AN INHUMAN ABUSIVE TREAMENT TO ALL ASIAN RACE AND TO ALL RACES TOO. THERE IS NO WAY TO TREAT A PERSON LIKE THAT WITH FORCE. THE POLICE OFFICER SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND REMOVED IMMEDIATELY!! THE POLICE OFFICER IS NOT THERE TO SERVE NOR PROTECT THE INNOCENT BUT TO ABUSE THE PEOPLE WITH BRUTE FORCE. THIS IS VERY DISGRACEFUL AND INHUMAN BY THE POLICE IN CHICAGO, THE AIRLINE PEOPLE AND AIRPORT OFFICERS FOR LETTING THIS TERRIBLE BRUTE FORCE INCIDENT TO HAPPEN TO BY DRAGGING THE PERSON LIKE AN ANIMAL!!! WHY?? WE MUST STAND UNITED TO BOYCOTT THIS AIRLINE -UNITED AIRLINES AND CHICAGO AIRPORT!!!
PLEASE SHARE TO ALL AND EVERYONE!!!!! I PLEAD ALL COUNTRIES TO PLEASE HELP TO STOP OR BOYCOTT THIS AIRLINE FROM ENTERING YOUR AIRSPACE. THIS REALLY TERRIBLE AND SEE HOW A PAYING CUSTOMER IS TREATED BY AIRLINE AND POLICE WHO ABUSED THEIR POWER AND AUTHORITY. I HOPE THAT UNITED AIRLINES MAKE A HUGE PUBLIC APOLOGY TO THE PASSENGER AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD FOR A INHUMAN ABUSIVE TREATMENT OF ITS PASSENGERS. I HOPE SOMEONE WILL LUNCH LAWSUITS IN THE WORKS AGAINST THIS AIRLINE ON SUCH TERIBLE ABUSIVE TREATMENT OF PAYING FLYING PASSENGERS AND ALSO, TO MINORITY ETHNIC PEOPLE. REMEMBER THAT IT COULD BE ANY BE YOU OR ANYONE OF YOU IF YOU DO NOT STAND UP AGAINST SUCH ABUSE FROM THE POLICE AND AIRLINE AUTHORITY!!! THERE NO NEED OR NO WAY TO TREAT A PERSON LIKE THAT. ESPECIALLY FROM THE POLICE OFFICER WHO SHOULD SOLVED AND RESTRAIN FROM USING ABUSIVE FORCE FROM AN UNARMED PERSON AND THEY ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND REMOVED FROM THE FORCE AND ACTIVE DUTY IMMEDIATELY!! I DO NOT BELIEVE IN VIOLENCE AS YOU SEE THE VIDEO THERE IS NO COURTESY SHOWN TO THE PASSENGER. EVERYONE HAS RIGHT IN THE MATTER AND MUST BE RESOLVED IN A CIVILIZED MANNER. I HOPE DONALD TRUMP IS WATCHING THIS AND NEED TO INTERVENE IN THE MATTER.

I have cut up my United Airlines credit cards, and will never again fly United - ever - so much for flying the (un)Friendly Skies of United. This poor victim should be given millions in compensation and United's CEO should be fined and fired.

This is not a way to treat a person. United Airline should be ashamed of themselves for forcing passenger off the flight so that one of their own fly. The violence against an innocent passenger is uncaused for, and inhumane. There should be legal action taking against UA and the officer involves.

This was an unnecessary use of violence against an innocent person. This flight was not "overbooked." United simply wanted to move employees who had no reservations to another location for its convenience. Had United increased the offer to pay a volunteer to take a later flight until someone would have accepted it, this whole sorry situation could have been avoided. It's just one more example of the failed corporate culture in this company.
