I don't believe why they can treat their customers like that. They made 2 big mistakes. They are the one who oversold, They are the one who use violence on plane. Customers does seem seem to have control for what they have done. We should make more tough rules to the airlines company to protect passengers. I come across many delays, shifting around in other airlines too. Hope government can do something.

It was not acceptable to see a member of the public treated like this when he had paid for his seat. United Airline staff need some further training. It was a disgraceful incident, which dehumanised a human being.

So many things wrong with this incident that I don't know where to begin but let me try: (1) Unethical & fradulent practice by the aviation industry in selling something (seats) that don't exist (2) Poor training of United employees, too ready to call the Police; lack of management skills in not upping the incentive to find volunteers. Offer should have been raised, I'm sure it would not have cost $90m which has currently been wiped off the stock price. Idiots! (3) Airport Police behaviour - officer needs to be fired, PD should be sued for yet another example of brutality and failure to understand how to police. (4) The laughable PR "effort" by United in handling this incident in the aftermath. A classic case study in what NOT to do. Complete incompetence all the way up to the CEO. After several days, they *STILL* don't get it. Maybe, this petition and others will make you understand.

Deeply disturbing and insult to injury the CEO's response that the man was being belligerent as if he was there and witness the belligerence. He made a already bad situation worse. Totally lack of humanity and compassion
