For once, everything seemed aligned in their favor.

And yet, in a bitter twist of fate, their greatest obstacle was not external—it was themselves. The same self-destructive tendencies that once drove them to bankruptcy have resurfaced. It’s disheartening to witness a company with such a rich and innovative legacy choose profit over principle. Rather than honoring their intellectual properties, they’ve commodified them, reducing beloved franchises to hollow cash grabs, expecting loyal fans to foot the bill.

This is not the SNK we once revered. It is a distortion—an insult to their history and to the community that has supported them through decades.
