I stand with the over 300 Ikea Richmond co-workers who have been locked out by the company since May 13th, 2013. This is not just about Ikea, this is about the labour movement and what is happening to working people. Tiered wage systems are a cancer in working class people; they divide us and say that some people are not worth the same as others doing the same job.
I will not shop at Ikea until this multi-billion dollar company comes back to the table and negotiates a fair agreement for it's workers that does not involve tiered wage systems, cuts to benefits and contracting out of work. People before profits!
I am honestly overwhelmed by the number of people who have stepped up to support these workers. We are nearing the first hundred signatures and it is clear that this momentum belongs entirely to your dedication. Please tell just a couple more people about what is happening so we can show them how many of us demand fairness.

I fully support you guys, we have not being shopping at Ikea a full 8 months and has decided not to, until Ikea do something about this. We used to go to Ikea every week.

RIDICULOUS how they treat these workers. I'm shopping elsewhere from now on. Fair wages for everyone.

Ikea is getting way too greedy. My family is done spending money there until they treat their workers like people.
