I stand with the over 300 Ikea Richmond co-workers who have been locked out by the company since May 13th, 2013. This is not just about Ikea, this is about the labour movement and what is happening to working people. Tiered wage systems are a cancer in working class people; they divide us and say that some people are not worth the same as others doing the same job. I will not shop at Ikea until this multi-billion dollar company comes back to the table and negotiates a fair agreement for it's workers that does not involve tiered wage systems, cuts to benefits and contracting out of work. People before profits!
