My daughter loves her teacher at Berries. Even though we are disappointed at the company's decision to substitute normal lessons with homebased learning, we must remember that teachers are only employees and we should acknowledge their efforts. Let our voices be heard by the management!

Was unhappy over this arrangement made. Berries should seriously reconsider the options made before all starts to withdraw from classes. Take a look at the arrangement from TianXia instead! We pay so much for the useless HBL??????

We send our kids for enrichment classes and yet have to take on the teachers’ work for which we paid services for, just doesn’t make any sense.

I hope I can do a little to help the parents who've 'donated' their money to Berries to get some justice

Pls refund us back money for the missing lessons. HBL is like additional learning, not replacement for lessons. Please note.

What berries is doing is very unfair to us parents! They thought by using online learning to replace 2hours of class lesson is fair?!? Let's do our part! Every effort counts!

Since there is no teacher needed for the lesson. No point sending video for e-learninh. We can download any teaching video online without paying a single cents. Please refund otherwise I will not send my children after this covid19.

I kept my girl voluntarily at home for 2 weeks after CNY and I called your centre to check if there’s any refunds or free make up lesson. U said no refunds UNLESS Govt announced school closure . I thought that was fair enough since it was me who wanted to play safe to keep my child at home. But now, the school closure is official and u are backing out on your words. This is what most angered me. I understand that the company have their business costs, but now you're pushing the parents to absorb the cost totally. If full refund of all the lessons affected is not possible, I would expect at least a 50% cost refund so that everyone shares the burden.

We understand the need for the company to sustain the business and the livelihood of the staffs, but that doesn't justify the fees you're charging if you're conducting elearning. I don't think I speak for everybody but I think it's reasonable that you lower the fees for this period while conducting elearning or even a replacement class is good.
I hope you understand that we can't be bearing the full responsibility for this period when you should accept and cater this as part of your business risk, and not treat your clients as suckers who are sheep waiting to be slaughtered.

Do not agree on HBL which is not effective learning. berries transfer the teaching responsibility to parents yet continue charge for full price. Totally irresponsible and not customer focus.

Yes is not fair to have the actual class lesson to be replace with Home based learning. I have went through one time of home based learning with my girl and basically is not going to be helpful at all. Some parents might not be equipped with the knowledge of teaching mandarin properly that’s why we prefer to send them to enrichment classes to enhance. We do not need the voucher or refund. A replacement classes for all these missed lessons will be appropriate too as this is what some of the enrichment schools are doing. Or credits these missed lessons payment to the next term.

They should have a better solution rather than just an short message. Understood the timeline given was short but being a big organization, they should have the better contingency plan for such scenario. $$$ isn't a big deal but student learning growth must not be affected.

Support too. Didn’t agree on the HBL to be replaced with F2F sessions. If we can teach via HBL, why are we sending our child to classes?

Berries should offer genuine support in such times instead of taking the simple way out of asking parents to do HBL for their usual 1hr45mins sessions.
