Price paid and quality of HBL is unjustifiable. Refund offered for the 3 HBL lessons is unreasonable

The amount of money paid does not justify the quality of teaching we are getting. Especially for N1-K2 kids. We are paying and yet we as parents need to sit in and guide our kids. And the lesson only lasted less than 30min.

I went into the HBL link and was shocked that that was all for their online learning. Really not equal to the price paid. At least refund more than just $50 as the online learning material is so insufficient

My other tuition centre is providing me full refunds for the suspended lessons. I am thinking of quitting the class after Term 1. The $50 credit note is not meaningful at all considering we do not want to continue our child for the next term. They should give parents the options 1) defer lessons 2) cash refunds and not credit note

I have emailed to Berries on 25/03/2020 to voice out my discontentment on the online learning for this one month.
They should provide us option to defer the payment or to refund half of the fee.

Why berries can’t defer the lesson rather than charging us for the online learning . What happen if both parents do not understand Chinese therefore I do not agree with online learning and the $50 voucher per child .

I know the teachers are trying their best. But just doesn't make sense to pay full price.

The e-learning is not the same as face to face learning. I have my kids at other tuition centres for other subjects and they will also provide e-learning but the f2f lessons will be made up once the restrictions for gathering eases. Berries should be assume that e-learning lessons are the same as f2f lessons.

The objective of signing up with Berries is not HBL. Defeat what we want for our child

Why am I paying 47bucks each, for my two kids, to have to sit thru and conduct the class with my kids..defer the lessons and not stuff us with that 25 mins of online learning. Even minute of your video is worth about $2?

i am very upset with the short HBL that berries came up with to replace the normal class sessions during this suspension period. my 2 kids are definitely shortchanged. i very much prefer to get a refund than to have a $50 credit

We should be given an option if to continue with online learning or opt out and not get charged for lessons during this period

The duration of HBL session should at least match the regular class duration, if not longer.

Have no time to do elearning. And hard to get kid off the laptop when he is on it. And the value of elearning does not match the value of the 1.75 hour lessons with interaction with teachers.

Both me and my wife are not good with Mandarin and that’s why we have opted for the enrichment class. There is no reason why a refund or discussion is not done and a unilateral decision to perform e-learning is pushed by BerriesWorld...No refund or replacement classes are considered which goes to show that the school is very much profit oriented.

Agree. Send my children to lessons because of the interaction with teachers. E-learning does not achieve the learning objectives, and still paying full price
