I cannot accept their so called homebased one way non interactive e-learning slides, please come up with better solution to it. I would prefer push backward the April classes to May or at least a real time online interactive teaching.

If I can teach with online learning materials. I wouldn't need to send my kids to berries!

They should give refund in this covid 19 situation! Learning center is to help children to learn, become a better person and not to make money!

My purpose is not to boycott berries. Berries is doing a great job in bringing this subject lively to my child and my child do enjoy their lessons. However, I can’t help to be disappointed in the eLearning arrangement made which was not made clear to all parents until we called to show concern. And if this situation were to extend , we parents are paying more which does not justify. Instead of asking for full refund, I would gladly support for lessons to be postpone till further notice as eLearning are also tough for parents like us who could not speak / understand this language, hence how are we gonna guide our child?

With learning time reduced drastically to only 20 minutes, i feel that this is unfair for us whom paid for the lesson basis on in class learning of 1 hour and 45 minutes level. Should they not refund, they should provide additional lessons to replace this gap difference.

This is totally unacceptable just by throwing a few sets of elearning and calling it a day.
We understand that you have overheads, rents, salary. But we also know that you have profits, lesser utilities bills that month.
So refund partial of the fees in credits for future school fees!
Or use Zoom for online teaching.
Other enrichment are doing the same !

Other centres such as Crestar Abacus & ICanRead are cancelling lessons until 30 April (until further notice according to Govt). If Berries decide to go E-learning and not refund/credit for the missed lessons, I do not think this is fair to us who paid so much for these classes.

I would have bought Chinese online learning if I wanted e learning for my kids, it would be massively unfair to replace e learning lesson for an interactive lesson with a highly qualified teacher

The e-learning platform is too short and uninteractive totally. Its just a waste of time and student did not benefit from it.

Brushing us off with 20 mins of e-learning for 5 lesson is unreasonable. We paid full lesson fee for interaction and communication. How do u expect a preschooler to do e-learning ? Can they sit still ? How to do assessment if they clear that lesson ? It’s not 1 lesson, it’s 5 lessons !
Berries, please reconsider your plan ! This is not the way to treat your loyal customers.

According to World Health Organization, no screen time should be allowed for kids below 5.

My child is with downtown east branch.
Hope they can at least offer some rebates as e learning is not effective for young pre-schoolers. 5 out of 12 lessons is quite a lot.

To pay $40 plus for each e learning is ridiculous! One or two lessons still acceptable but now is four at least. If situation does not improve, elearning will continue and this is totally unacceptable!
