Our family doesn’t read any Chinese other than my son, who goes there to learn. HBL is equivalent to nothing done and our $ is taken. Pls refund or convert it to credit, for us to use it when the center re-opens.

I understand 100% refund may not be reasonable to the school. However, having 5 lessons replaced as Home based learning and not making any deduction to the fees is unreasonable to most of us. We appreciate vouchers can be issued for future classes, in that case is a win win for both parties. The school can ensure continued attendance and business after this episode is over.

I am not expecting a refund but rather put the lessons on hold or give us an option for those who do not want e-learning. My monetary loss is times 3 kids and with the price increase,I am looking into withdrawing by this year

I don't expect refunds but e-learning seriously doesn't help much.
my suggestion is to hold all classes first and resume when suspension of enrichment centers are lifted.
The hefty fee of 1 class does not measure up to e-learning at home.
Do reconsider Berries

It's unfair for parents to bear the full cost for the government decision for enrichment Centre closure. Other businesses r suffering too. How come we parents r the one paying for your rent, staff salary and your overheads when your Centre cannot even operate and your staff can't even work. Some parents can't read Chinese too. How is the home based learning helpful? The home based learning is not equivalent to 1 session of class. It's extremely lacking and as good as a YouTube video for the kids. If we wanted that we can just turn on the TV. What for pay 50plus for a 'class'.

Appreciate if Berries could replace this with "Live Streaming" like most other tuition centres. Mandarin especially for Primary school students no longer use a Reader Pen and will be totally impossible for the kids to grasp the concept and do the worksheets given.

I’m a homeschooling mum and there’s a reason why I send my kids to Berries in the first place - it is because I am unable to teach them mandarin well on my own. While we cannot fault Berries for taking measures due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, credits or a discount on future classes would be very much appreciated.

Replacing actual lessons with online lessons are not acceptable at similar cost to parents. You are not providing the same service that we have paid and signed up for. We cannot be expected to agree to this just because money has been paid upfront. I would expect to be given an option to choose between continuing with online lessons at reduced cost or to have credit for lessons missed should I choose not to have elearning at reduced cost. Otherwise, berries should just suspend classes and continue when closure is lifted. Moreover, we do not know if closure might be extended and there are many parents who have paid up for a full year. It is extremely unjust to us parents and totally unacceptable.

Pls delay the classes , I don’t need the $5O voucher thanks. I highly doubt an active 3 year old can sit in front of computer for 30min
