Berries shouldn't charge the school fees at our expenses. Each to bear 50% would be more reasonable imo.

Refund or credits equivalent should be given to offset the hbl and not just some voucher which is not equivalent to the class fees

E learning videos are a less than poor substitute for the personal lessons we paid for. Sad that Berries didnt even consider to have replacement classes for preschool and lower pri classes, and no live lessons for upp pri (though I have no kids in upp pri). Will be withdrawing from next term. Save yr $50 voucher.
It is not fair to force us to take up HBL. Unless a more reasonable amt of rebate is offered.

Both of us, the parent do not know how to read Chinese. Home based learning is not helpful and productive in our case. Early exposure for children on IT device is also not our preference

I have always had a very good impression of Berries’ standard of teaching and the effectiveness of their teaching methods. However, this HBL option of 20 Mins which the management of Berries chose to go for as compared to rescheduling students’ lessons to other possible dates (after the closure is lifted), really left a bad impression I now have of Berries. It really shows the glaring lack of communication between parents and them. I urge the management to reconsider their decision again and save their reputation by doing what is not only good for the students’ overall learning experience in a proper classroom, but to also regain the trust that many parents have in them.
In summary, please reschedule students’ lessons to May or even June 2020 like what many other reputable enrichment centres would do. Everyone in the country suffers doing such trying times, and we all make adjustments to give and take. Taking advantage of the situation is certainly not welcome by most.

Other enrichment center that my children. Attend had either provide full refund or postpone the lesson which we will happy to stay with the school and support them. One of the English language Centre even provide both HBL as complimentary for existing student + a full refund.
I am seriously considering withdraw my children from the center after this is over!

I am against HBL too as we are all working parents. This takes up our time to coach them. And, if we can coach the children ourselves we HBL materials, we wouldn't have needed to send them to berries.

HBL material is inferior, zoom learning or video conferencing is better. with HBL, fees for every lesson should halved.

Hope berries can implement suspension of classes which is what other institutions are offering according to Govt measures. HBL is only 15-20 min and require parents assistance and the need to use screen time for young kids will not be as effective. If you expect us to pay for the lessons while we do the work at home for the Teachers then please pay us what you pay your teachers. We understand hbl is to ensure continuous learning for the children but this kind of 15-20 min learning which require parents involvement we are fine without it.

I think elearning for young toddlers is ineffective. They need professional guidance and the right environment to learn, which is what I am signing up for. Given a choice, I would have opted out from such alternatives.

We sent our child to Berries because we cannot do the teaching ourselves as we do not speak Chinese. Now u expect us to pay for the lessons my child not attending.

对百力果的处事方式非常失望。说那么多都没重点，还不敢直接回答。其他教育中心，规模比百力果较小的都以抵消其未来其他课堂的方式基础上退款 。 在疫情开始时，大概华人新年以后，百力果都擅自停课2周，提前六月学习假期。为何现在不能实行当初的做法呢？对家长比较公平。
