If I wanted this type of housing I would live in Lincoln Park or Lakeview. I have lived through this type of housing change and it creates a lot of traffic and more transient homeowner. Houses people stay for generations. I hope this does not fall on deaf ears.

The current RT3 zoning is more than sufficient to suit the needs of our community.

Please email me if you need address. Absolutely no need to rezone - work within existing zoning.

Houses in this neighborhood date back to late 19th and early 20th Century. Many of the houses are 1 1/2 story wooden structures that look like Monopoly houses. This proposed structure would change the character of the neighbor. we already have density with a few lower height apartment buildings. No to RT4 Zoning.

We demand Open Meetings with full disclosure about "up" zoning the entire neighborhood.

I can't disagree more with the argument that this building would increase density, seeing as my building and many other buildings in the area are large multi unit buildings. The author of the petition makes questionable classist remarks and must be blind to all of us living in buildings not single family homes. However, I believe that building on the property should remain the same, regardless of the developers heritage.

When is our Alderman's term up?

It's obvious the alderman is making money on this deal. He is probably getting kick backs and if I had to guess his wife is the realtor to sell the new building, right? Follow the money. He is a liar and can't be trusted.

I am adamantly opposed to the rezoning and building of 6-unit buildings in Bowmanville.

We have too many new large single family homes now in Bowmanville. What does a small family of 3 or 4 do with all that space. It's taken away the charm of our neighborhood.

The developers are swimming like sharks in our area looking to make a buck. We need to fight to maintain the community that we have.
