This is not a commercial area and we would like to keep it that way. The litter in our area is already terrible it will get so much worse if businesses come in

I love what Don Smith wrote. I agree wholeheartedly with what him. A definite NO to rezoning the primal 57 acres on Collis Road to "RM-3 without conditions." My family has had the privilege of enjoying Lake Oconee many times near the proposed site. It has been a place of family fun memories and a place of healing and reconnecting with nature. The proposed hotel would permanently and greatly diminish the joy of what Lake Oconee currently offers in that area. Families have specifically and thoughtfully chosen lots and spent hard-earned life savings for a tranquil dream home that this proposed hotel would shatter. It would decrease the joy of Lake Oconee as well as home and land values. Please, for the love of a clean conscience that is priceless, do what is right and do not allow this hotel to be built on Lake Oconee!

County commissioners are elected to represent and protect the welfare and best interests of citizens living in the county. Rezoning the 57 acre property on Collis Road caters to those promarily interested in profit at the expense of county citizens. Do not stoop that low. The "RM-3 without conditions" proposal serves NO ONE who loves this county, enjoys the pristine quality of beautiful Lake Oconee, and finds spiritual renewal in the serenity of homes which honor both nature and human dwelling. IA hotel fractures the fragile harmony of wooded landscape, bird habitat, majestic water, and nature lovers who have chosen to live here. Just DO what you know in your heart is the right thing...vote a clear and decisive NO on rezoning the primal 57 acres on Collis Road to "RM-3 without conditions". The One who rules the universe watches how you treat your citizens and your commitment to obey the trust given to you.

This is not the place for a hotel. It is a place to relax and resided to take in Georgia's natural beauty which does not include looking at a HOTEL!

The cove where this proposal is being requested does not have a large enough area to accommodate the additional boat traffic.
