The proposed flats will be totally out of character and be detrimental to the local amenity. Also it will place a strain on parking which is already in short supply.

I strongly oppose this proposal, not only because it directly affects us at No33, but it is out of proportion, out of character and could create a dangerous precedent of demolishing beautiful family houses and cramming maximum number of tiny flats in the inadequate for that space destroying the character and feel of the area.

I object strongly to the demolition of this house and it's development into 10 flats. It is out of character in its design and will set a precedent for the area.

I object strongly to this developement - the design is out of character with the existing houses, insufficient parking has been provided and the increased population will put yet more strain on local services like doctors, dentists and schools. No, no, no!

This dreadful proposal would be very detrimental to Maidstone Road. It is wrong on so many levels.

Developers seem intent on destroying the area. This needs to be halted. We need gardens for wildlife and to offset pollution. Greed is not good.

This proposal must not go ahead. It is totally out of character to the rest of our street. This property is of historical interest and must not be demolished ''because it is old''.

And developing on garden space should be an absolute no-no

This is too urban for the character of the area and comes at a time when we are already seeing many hundreds of new flats coming onto the market.

This is completely unnecessary and not in keeping with the area.

This proposal is wholly out of scale and character with the surrounding buildings and shows no regard whatsoever for those of us who live nearby.

This is a monstrous proposal, completely out of character with existing proporties. The existing house is part of the necessary propvision for larger families that Bounds Green needs, The placement of a rear car park wil destroy the tranquillity of nearby gardens and the underpass will be insecure.

I have lived in the area all of my 56 years and am deeply concerned about the destruction of our architecture and heritage. The house is a family home in beautiful Edwardian style. The proposal will put more parking pressure, demands on local schools and doctors.

It would be heartbreaking to destroy such a beautiful family house. To build an out of place block flats on this site will have a hugely detrimental effect on the character of the lovely row of family houses in which it sits. This will have a knock on effect to the character of the area. There have already been a huge number of flats built in the vicinity recently (within Enfield borough) to fulfil local housing needs.

I am horrified at the prospect of family homes in Maidstone Road being demolished and replaced by random blocks of flats. If this plan goes ahead then it serves as a green light for other property developers. It must be stopped.
