If these kids are willing to go outside their comfort zone and learn how to network and make contacts with local businesses, why would you try to shut that learning opportunity down? They’re not making a bunch of money off of people, if they’re lucky, they may break even. But this will help them in many other ways than just financially. The people who would take this away must not have children that ever worked their guts out for something just to have some adults not even involved in the situation take away their opportunities from them and put them in the hole for their project the next year. That could potentially make it impossible for them to participate the next year. Please leave them alone and let them have their learning opportunities!

Please keep the boost program for the kids it teaches these kids valuable skills. And I am willing to help with paperwork and I know a lot of parents willing to help if they would allow us to help

Keep the Boosts! Everything about the community, family, and friend boosts are a positive for the kids and the 4h program. Why is doing away with it even being considered. Doesn’t make any sense.

Boosts are what made my senior year when I was showing! I love to see the support our kids have from the community and it’s important for them to see it too!

Please allow businesses to help these kids! How is this harmful to anyone??

Those boosts help kids with extra costs when floor prices aren’t high. If the kids are willing to work and go talk to businesses then they should have that opportunity! The boosts teach the kids leadership, communication, and responsibility!

Please keep the booster program. Some of these kids make next to nothing and need a real boost. Thanks

There is nothing to be gained, but so much to lose by taking away the ability to get Boosts.

Some of the on the committee members have no idea what the kids do. There no money in raising the livestock it is all about raising kids they are the future.

Please continue to allow "boosts"! We haven't been doing this a long time but a couple years ago the animals barely sold high enough for the kids to break even, let alone make a few bucks for there hard work!

I think getting rid of the boosts is crazy! So many people love to help and support these kids and taking that away isn’t fair to the kids or the supporters.

Please do not do away with the boosts. Please give our kids a chance to go out to the different people and businesses and introduce themselves and ask for sponsorship. This is a valuable skill! The kids will not make a profit and their parents can not afford to foot the entire bill. These kids now more then ever need to learn to be fiscally responsible and to budget for their next year! Please give our kids a chance to turn a profit for college and their futures!

I think we also, as parents, need to be willing to step up and man the "friends of the fair" committee to help bring money into the sale and not put all that responsibility on the kids.
