No animal should have to lose its life for their fur.

Please do not allow this to happen. Leghold traps are very torturous and inhumane.

We can't even say for sure we know what the bobcat population in OH is like yet to be able to properly regulate a trapping season. Not to mention large cat populations are self-regulating and overpopulation does not pose a threat.

No killing, trapping, shooting or stomping to death Bobcats. You have to be nuts to even be thinking of such a thing. They start to recover from being totally wiped out and right away someone has got of kill them for no good reason. Of all my 74 years of living in rural areas of Ohio, and spending a great deal of time in the woods I have never seen a Bobcat in the wild. They surely can be all that prevalent. So they them off your kill list.

We have a trail cam and in 4 years, have only seen a bobcat once. Fairly freq coyotes and foxes. There is an abundance of rabbits and deer. Please save the bobcats. At least find out how many there are and pay attention to how ecological systems work. Many mistakes like this have been made for many years. Can't we learn?

Such beautiful animals that should by all means be preserved not slaughtered.

I am against trapping bobcats in the state of Ohio, especially with such low population to begin with. There’s no reason for it, we need predators to return and keep natural order.

Not enough research for these regulations. Citizens of Ohio deserve scientific approachs to regulating the environment WE live in

Do not kill bobcats and threaten their existence again. They are rarely seen, so why hunt them?
